Having a strong background in photography makes me well-suited to work on projects that involve visual storytelling, such as creating social media content or developing a branding campaign that relies heavily on visual imagery. I have a strong eye, catching details and evoking feelings.
I was asked to make a segment on self-portraiture and how my own inspirations and other creative outlets helped the shoot for LGCY media's quarantine electronic music and arts festival, an Asian-American based organization empowering youth creatives, which was then livestreamed on Twitch.
Starting in high school I picked up photography, I then continued to do videography for weddings. As I was in design school, I assisted and directed shoots. Now I do it on the side for fun when I travel! Although I have not continued it professional, it contributes a lot to my design thinking, such as color, composition, and layout.
